Street Tree Care

Come work with NYC Parks Stewardship to care for local street trees! Volunteers will learn how to aerate, cultivate, mulch, and identify street trees. They will also learn about the important roles street trees play in New York City. Volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. They are also encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Meeting Location: W 133rd Street and Frederick Douglass Blvd.  Please note: This is a two-part registration. Registration via Georgetown site and NYC Parks site are both required. NYC Parks registration will be linked in the next step. Waivers and consent form are required before participation is permitted.
